ELEMENTAL

The ‘Elemental’ idea came out of a sudden reckoning, the discovery of a deep mystery in something so seemingly familiar. It was something I saw in the images from Iceland and knew I had to transpose it to the photographs I would take when back home. I believe I’ve been arriving at this place for a while now, somewhere I have to reach in order to move on. A breaking down of what I see every day, something within me that is reflected in the world around me.
