New kit on the block

I had a great opportunity yesterday to try out the latest Canon EOS R mirrorless camera system! Thanks to Canon, Filmmaker Photographer Clive Booth (Canon Ambassador) and Castle Cameras for organising a great event.

A very impressive piece of kit, nice to handle and intuitive to use. I had reservations over the EFV (electronic viewfinder) but really surprised to be wowed by it. It definitely has a place in the 'prosumer' market. It'll be interesting to see new developments in lenses.
